How did you get involved with Central Coast Basketball?
I become involved with Central Coast Basketball at the request of a fellow Board Member to assist with the financial management for the Association.
What year did you join the Board?
I joined our Board of Directors in 2019.
What are your key responsibilities on the Board?
My key responsibilities are the management of the financial resources of Central Coast Basketball along with strategic analysis of Central Coast Basketball’s performance.
What are you most looking forward to for the future of Central Coast Basketball?
I’m looking forward to growing the sport of basketball on the Central Coast and building on our reputation as an Association that prides itself on best practice in all that we do.
Mark Holton, FCPA, has more than 35 years’ experience as an Accountant and Tax Agent in practice. Mark is a Director of Smithink and Smithink Advisory.
Mark has developed specialised skills in corporate presentations and training with extensive experience in both private and public sector industries in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and North America.
He is also a respected consultant in taxation and business management, in particular value added services implementation and administration using key business advisory systems and software.
Mark holds a Master of Commerce Degree as well as several post graduate qualifications in accounting and management. He also has a Degree in Adult Education and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. Mark is also a Graduate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mark is a Board Member and is Honorary Treasurer of Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney a role he has held for 25 years. He is also the Founding Chairman and Director of Finance of the NSW Central Coast Academy of Sport and a Director of Bendigo Bank East Gosford, Lisarow and Kincumber.
