School Holiday Camps

Our Bendigo Bank School Holiday camps are on again this January. They are a great way to stay active and have fun with friends whilst you learn and practice basketball skills.

All sessions are open to all players regardless of ages or ability as players will be separated into smaller groups on the day to ensure they are matched with players of a similar level.

These half day camps are led by Hammish Loader a Crusaders player, as well as an Academy and Rebels Coach. Our coaching teams take a fun approach but ensure that kids are taught the correct techniques of the game.

Our canteen will be open during each camp.

COST:

$45 per participant for individual sessions OR book the 3 day camp package which includes 3 session and a free camp t-shirt for $100 per participant.

FAQ:

Q: What do you need to know for the COVID Protocols?
A: Rest assured our COVID Safe protocols are in place in line with the NSW Government Health Guidelines:

– Parents to kiss and drop where possible. If a parent needs to enter the Stadium for younger children, please QR code check-in at entry via the Service NSW app and leave promptly afterwards as no spectators are allowed at the School Holiday Camps. Our staff at the Registration table will direct the children where to go and you can wave goodbye

– Masks are required to be worn by all people over 12 years old, when not involved in on-court activity

– Please don’t attend if you or your child are unwell

We will continue to provide the highest level of hygiene standards with sanitiser available at entry/exit points and on score-benches. Our Stadium is thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.

Q: What do we need to bring?
A: Please pack a drink bottle, snack and a Basketball. The canteen will be open for the purchase of snacks or drinks should you wish to send them with a small amount of money.

Q: Does my child need to attend all three days?

A: It is not compulsory, but we do recommend this as each day will feature different skills

Q: Does my child have to have previous basketball experience

A: Not at all! We cater to beginners all the way to elite. Our coaches split the players into groups based on age, skill level and experience.

Q: Why are these camps only half days?

A: We are focused on the development of our attendees, and have found that players keep their focus during shorter, more intense sessions.
