COVID Update – 7th July 2021:
Following the announcement by the NSW Government that the lockdown of Sydney and the Greater Sydney Region, all Central Coast Basketball activities remain suspended.
A review of the current situation will be made around the 16th of July when we will be able to provide additional updates based on the information provided by a number of key stakeholders including the NSW Government, Basketball NSW and the Central Coast Council.
We encourage all members to keep safe and check in with each other. We will continue in our current online format and would love to see as many people as we can engaging in sessions as often as they can.
COVID Update – 29th June 2021:
We would like to extend a huge thank you for your understanding and patience while we navigate through the latest COVID-19 restrictions.
Below is a list of the scheduled events and programs and the updated information that is relevant to each one:
School Holiday Camps:
Our school holiday camps will not proceed these school holidays. The camps have been rescheduled to the following dates:
FUNdamentals Camp: Previously scheduled for Tuesday 29th June, Wednesday 30th June and Friday 1st July will now be held on Tuesday 21st September, Wednesday 22nd September and Thursday 23rd September.
Get Buckets Camp: Previously scheduled for Tuesday 6th July, Wednesday 7th July and Friday 8th July will now be held on Tuesday 28th September, Wednesday 29th September and Thursday 30th September.
All school holiday camp participants will automatically be rebooked into the new sessions, however you will receive an email separately with more information and alternate options if the above dates do not work for you.
Online School Holiday Workshops:
We will now be offering online ‘no hoop required’ skills sessions which will be delivered via our Facebook page. These sessions will focus on the skills and fundamentals of the game which don’t require a hoop and provide a sporting outlet to help maintain physical and mental wellbeing.
We understand that not everyone will have access to a hoop or certain spaces that will be required for all activities but we encourage you to get creative and find a way to be successful using this time to your advantage.

Sessions times are as follows:
– 5-10 Years: 10am-11am
– 11 years+: 11am-12pm
– $10 per child per session

Creative Kids Cultural Workshops:
Our creative kids cultural workshops will not proceed these school holidays. The workshops have been rescheduled to Monday 20th September and Tuesday 21st September.
All workshop participants will automatically be rebooked into the new sessions, however you will receive an email separately with more information and alternate options if the above dates do not work for you.
Sip and Dot Workshops:
Our Sip and Dot Workshop will not proceed on the 9th July. The workshop has been rescheduled to Friday 30th July.
All workshop participants will automatically be rebooked into the new session, however you will receive an email separately with more information and alternate options if the above dates do not work for you.
At this stage, our Senior Domestic Competition will commence as planned on Sunday the 12th July. Team nominations are currently open for this competition and will close on the 4th July.
Our Junior Domestic Competition will recommence as planned on Monday the 12th July.
Sunday Scrimmage will be cancelled for Sunday the 4th of July and will recommence on Sunday 11th July.
Aussie Hoops / Rising Rebels Sessions:
Term 3 of our Aussie Hoops and Rising Rebels sessions will commence as planned on Friday 16th July and Saturday 17th July.
Please note that if restrictions are extended that these dates may change. We will keep communicating via our Facebook page with information and updates.
